24 hours in Shenandoah National Park!
24 hours in Shenandoah National Park! The park encompasses part of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. This park is long and narrow, with the broad Shenandoah River and Valley on the west side, and the rolling hills of the Virginia Piedmont on the east. I camped at Big Meadows and was able to hike the A.T. and the Rose River trail to Dark Hollow Falls and Rose River Falls. It’s a beautiful place to visit and I hope to return one day in spring or fall.
