Sparkleberry Swamp & Santee State park 6-13-10
Sparkleberry Swamp is a 16,000–acre tract of land in the eastern portion of the Upper Santee Swamp. It is bordered on the north where the Congaree and Wateree rivers meet. A true natural treasure that’s unknown to many. Pristine, brimming with wildlife, and publicly accessible! This trip started at Santee State Park then driving to the swamp for a hot but nice paddle with friends!
