This is a gallery from two weekends spent on the lake sailing, exploring, hiking and trying to captures a few good photos to share with friends. I went to some of the remote locations around the manmade lake and did some hiking and a short bushwhack or two. Also with a moonless night it was a great time for some milk way photography! The highlight of the trip was a hike on the foothills trail from the Horsepasture River to Hilliard falls in Gorges park N.C.
